INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITONS at RGC

Ludhiana, January 19, 2018: Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana organised Inter-School Competitions on January19, 2019 in which various schools participated with great enthusiasm. Competitions included Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Poetical Recitation, Dasuti, Knitting, Calligraphy and Sir Gundana. Students showcased their vivid talents in different areas. The main purpose of the competition was to explore the hidden talent of the students beyond the books. The students put their efforts to recite the poems in the coherent form during poetical recitation and gave their best performance. The students were judged on the basis of clarity, presentation, fluency and pronunciation. “The teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji” were the themes for art competitions where budding stars showcased their creativity using various hues and colours. S. Amarjeet Singh Syan (U.S.A) marked his presence as the Chief Guest. While addressing the gathering, he emphasized that such inter-school events play a role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just winning a prize. S. Randeep Singh(Speed ways tyers, Jalandhar)was the Guest of Honour. S. Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council said that such types of events help in developing essential skill of public speaking and also go a long way to boost confidence of children to face audience comfortably. Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur said the competitions would give an adequate exposure to the students. She exhorted the students to participate with zeal and enthusiasm in all such activities. Smt. Harjinder Kaur, Principal Kalgidhar school, Ludhiana was honoured for gracing the occasion. S. Arshdeep Singh(12 years old) was also honoured who got an award for best National WildLife Photography. Winners were presented with trophies and received applause and appreciation for their laudable achievements. S. Gurcharan Singh Lotey, Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council gave Vote of thanks to one and all present there.
