KMV NCC Senior Under Officer Preeti Kaundal Honoured

Jalandhar, February 16, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya , Jalandhar has an active NCC- army wing and the consistent laudable performance of the cadets is its hallmark. This year it was SUO (Senior Under Officer) Preeti Kaundal who did the KMV NCC unit proud by getting selected for the most prestigious National Level Camp RDC (Republic Day Camp). She participated in Flag Area making which was adjudged 1st during the Flag Area Competition. It was another moment of pride for the college and the cadet when she was chosen for ushering dignitaries like the Air and the Naval Chief. She also piloted the Air Chief and DGNCC during the camp events. Participation in Line Area competition is another proof of her being actively involved throughout the camp. Preeti also participated in the Inter Directorate Drill Competition and was chosen for the Drill Squad during PM Rally. She was also honoured with a medal and trophies by the DGNCC and also by the Governor of Punjab. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the NCC cadet and the NCC unit incharge Lt. Seema Arora for the achievement. She averred that it was only natural that a Nationalistic organization like NCC should find the right growing space in a Patriotic institution like KMV.
