Jalandhar, May 5, 2015: The Inter-Cambridge Sports Meet was a grandiose event where Cambridge International School for Girls bagged the Winner Trophy. It is a proud and jubilant moment for CISFG as they attained 283 points in various categories.

The event was a culmination of month-long intensive preparation of athletic display, finesse and skills of teamwork, scream of joys and gushing excitement. CISFG Athletic team, Skating team, Chess team, Tennis team ,Basketball(under-14), Kho–kho(under 14), Volleyball(under-14),Yoga(under-12) and Yoga(under-14) were crowned the winners. The Volleyball team(under-19),Basketball team(under-19) were the runners-up.

In this endeavor of Cambridge, the spirit of co-operation superseded the spirit of competition. The exemplary participation has promoted solidarity.  Such sport event inspire both the participants and the spectators. It nurtures creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and these qualities help them in their personal spiritual quest.

The event was graced by Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Vice-Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director J.K. Kohli, Principal Deepa Dogra, Vice Principal Preeti Sharma, Sports Co-ordinator A.S.Sikand and Head of the sports department Harpreet Kaur. They appreciated the commendable efforts of the sports department and the winners. Their presence was a moral boost for the participants.
