GNDEC students shine at the first phase of Campus Placement Drive by TCS

Ludhiana, September 7, 2015: Tata Consultancy services conducted a campus placement drive in GNDEC, Ludhiana from 3-5 September, 2015 for the final year B.tech (all Branches) and MCA students. The process started by a Pre-Placement talk by the TCS officials. Enthusiasm and positive response of students were admired by the TCS team . A strength of about 348 students applied for the drive. The selection was done via two rounds namely Aptitude followed by personal interview. Personal Interview round further included Technical, Managerial and HR round.
Total 243 students cracked the aptitude test and were advanced to the  technical round. Further 170 students were shortlisted for the Managerial  round  , out of which more than 130 students managed to reach HR round. 95 students were recruited by the officials of TCS.

A team of 28 H.R.'s was welcomed in a traditional way by the Training and Placement Cell team. The team's effort was appreciated by the company's officials as a student team managed all the affairs of the placement drive.
The Placement Drive was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. K.S. Mann (Dean T&P). Dr. Mann congratulated the students and their parents. Dr. M.S. Saini, Director of the college appreciated the sincere and tireless efforts of the Training & Placement Cell Team on successful completion of the drive.
