Industry academia interface visit at Apeejay

Jalandhar, September 1, 2018: Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised an industrial visit for B.com semester III students at Fine Switches Industry, Phagwara. Satpal Sethi, Chairman, Fine Switches told the students that his company manufactures and exports Industrial switches, multi plugs, holders, polycarbonate battens and lamps. Furthermore, he told the students that his company has received Best Entrepreneur Award and is a leading exporter in the field of switches and accessories. Talking about the noble cause and social responsibility of industry, Sethi informed the students that his industry also promotes and advocates women empowerment, organizes free dental camps, free eye camps and distributes free blankets to the needy. Principal Dr. Sucharita expressed her views that such industrial visits not only sharpen the business acumen of the students but also impart them a practical exposure of the business, production and industry. She lauded the efforts of Asst. Professors Meenakshi Duggal and Manpreet Kaur for making the visit a success.
