Industrial Visit to Vardhman Polytex Ltd.

Jalandhar, October 6, 2016: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised an Industrial Visit to Vardhman Polytex Ltd., Ludhiana on 30th September 2016. The objective of the visit was to give industrial exposure to the B.Com. students and to familiarize them with the mechanism used in production and marketing textiles. The visit was facilitated by Mr.H.S.Jaswind, Corporate H R in Vardhman Polytex Ltd.
Vardhman Polytex Ltd. is the mother unit of Oswal group. This unit started its commercial production in 1986 and installed capacity of 25000 spindles which has now increased to 50000 spindles. On the other hand dying house in VPO has installed a capacity with 13 to 15 tons. The students were interacted with the functionaries of industry and got an insight into the ground realities. They learnt the passing of simple threads through ample of production procedures to make and convert them into furnished cloth. It was indeed a great experience.
Principal Dr. Sucharita said undoubtedly such visits prove to be highly beneficial to acquaint the students with successful in business or job.
