Induction cum Orientation Programme Held at DIPS-IMT

Jalandhar, July 22, 2016: To formally welcome the new students in the college life. Department of ATHM, DIPS-IMT, Ramneek Avenue, under the leadership of Director, Dr. K.K Handoo, organised first of its kind induction-cum-orientation programme for the students.
All students were traditionally welcomed by Tikka ceremony. After being seated in the auditorium, warm welcome speech was given by Principal Dr. Simranjit Singh. The speech was not only educative but also highlighted the importance of college and studies. He further added that this is the time when students can make or ruin their life. To make students comfortable and at ease student-faculty introduction was made. Beside, this a PPT was shown to the students in Airplane’s model which provided cutting edge knowledge to the students in terms of grooming and off course academics. Refreshing drinks were also served to all students. Last but not the least, concluding remarks of HOD-Mr. Arshdeep Singh Bedi were that “all the students have the spark to excel, all they need is right guidance and support which is very well provided at Dept. of ATHM, DIPS-IMT”.
