Dharamsala, January 7, 2016: The Indian Ex Servicemen League has demanded to set up a National Commission of Inquiry in to the episode of the terror attack on the Air Force Station of the Indian forces at Pathankot last week.
The President of Himachal state of Indian Ex Servicemen League, Maj Vijay Singh Mankotia (Retd.) said that the league shall soon submit a memorandum in this regards to the President of India, in Delhi. Talking to media in Dharamsala over Pathankot attack, he said on Thursday, “It seems to be a total failure of the intelligence of Centre and Punjab governments and that of the defence forces, that the terrorist safely made a 24 hours hide within the premises of the air base.”
He said that a finger of suspicion is being raised on the role of SP of Gurdaspur, Mr Salwinder, who must be investigated thoroughly, otherwise it shall be assumed that Centre government, Defence Ministry and the Punjab Government all are responsible for  the loss of  deaths   of  7 defense personals  who sacrificed their lives at Pathankot”, he said.
He said that everything went wrong in this episode and big loopholes are seen in our security system. He blamed the agencies for keeping re-employed DSC men infront and not bringing trained commandos  for flushing out operation in time, causing the huge  sacrifice of these officers.
He said that in the last NDA government PM Atal Bihari went to Lahore to meet Nawaz Sarif, then PM Pakistan to be gifted later with Kargil war in 1999, and now again PM Narendra Modi went on to meet same Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif in Pakistan to get Pathankot attack in return, which proves that Pakistan is being controlled by its Army and ISI. He said, “We must learn from America commandos who after  killing  Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan, took away his body too. India too must react in the similar way.”
Regarding T20 world cup Indo-Pak match fixed to be organised in Dharamsala in March this year, Mankotia said, “Matches could be staged, but not of India-Pakistan in Dharamsala, that too when two martyrs of Pathankot attack are from villages near to the stadium.” He said and it is really surprising to know that the organisers are willing to call Nawaz Sharif to Dharamsala for the said match.
