The winning team St Soldier's School, Panchkula in a jubilant mood after winning the 4th match the 6th Wg Cdr S S Gyani Memorial Cricket Tournament 2015, against their opponents Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula.

Panchkula, October 5, 2015: The fourth match of the 6th Wg Cdr S S Gyani Memorial Cricket Tournament organized by St Soldier's School, Sector-16, Panchkula was played out between Host St.Soldier’s School, Panchkula and Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. St Soldiers won the toss and elected to bat first.
 
The hosts posted a score of 180 runs in 25 overs with a loss of six wickets. Ankit Kalra was the highest scorer for the team. He knocked 67 off 74 with 10 4s and a mammoth six. Ashish Garg added a decent score of 30 off 28 balls including five 4s and one six. Geetank played the most impressive inning scoring 28 off just 9 balls hitting two 4s and three 6s. Shubham and 
Nishchay from the Bhavan Vidyalaya took two wickets each and Vinay took one wicket for their team.
 
Bhavan Vidayalaya, Panchkula made an impressive effort to chase the target but could not score more than 112 in 25 overs aginst the collective effort of the defending team. This led the hosts winning the match by 68 runs. For Bhavan Vidyalaya Ayush played a nice innings hitting 48 off 48 balls with the help of four 4s and three 6s. Akul too made a decent effort to raise the score on the board adding 26 of 29 balls with five blasting 4s. Ishank tried to hold on to the pitch hitting 16 off 17 balls with two 4's and a six but all this went in vain.  For St Soldier's Geetank and Vishal displayed excellent bowling skills taking three wickets each in 5 overs, giving away 17 and 19 runs respectively. Sahil took 2 wickets for the team in his 5 overs.  
 
Ankit Kalra of St. Soldier’s, Panchkula was declared Man of the Match. The first semifinal of the tournament will be held on Tuesday, October 6, between Pinegrove School, Dharampur(HP) and YPS, Mohali.
