Jalandhar, February 9, 2015: The students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won several prizes in different competitions organised by various institutes.  Principal Dr.Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the winners and their teachers.  Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized Inter College competitions in which the HMV literary team won overall trophy.  Amrit Kaur bagged First prize in declamation.  Sukhwinder and Ananya won second prize in debate.  Amandeep Kaur won First prize in Folk Songs and Tamanna won Third position in Poster Making.  Shefali won first position in Logo Achalpreet and Jaspreet won second position in collage making, Bharti, Shefali and Harpreet got second position in IT quiz.

CT Institute of Management and IT, Maqsudan organised an Inter School Festival Colors-2015 in which the students of HMV won several prizes.  Jaswinder and Ramanjit won first prize in Rangoli, Devshree, Nikita and Alisha won first prize in quiz, Inayat and Nikita won first prize in documentary, Mandeep and Priya won first prize in Clay Modelling, Ramandeep and Rashmi won first prize in FUZIKS CAFÉ, Upasana and Harmanjot won second prize in Business Plan, Indu, Dipali, Harvinder, Manmeet and Sakshi won second prize in Ad Mad Show, Pooja and Sakshi won second prize in Code debugging, Kavita won second prize in Creating Best out of Waste.

Apeksha, Daljit and Harsh won third prize in Mehndi, Simrajeet, Radhika, Rajwinder and Mandeep won third prize in Group Dance.  Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the students and encouraged them to work hard.  On this occasion, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop, Co-Dean Miss Shama Sharma and other teachers were also present.
