HMV outshined in Doaba Youth Festival

Jalandhar, November 10, 2014: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar bagged Overall Trophy in Doaba Youth Festival in Doaba College Jalandhar.  The college teams won 5 first positions, 7 second positions, 4 third positions and 2 consolation prizes.  Fancy Dress, Choreography, Gazal, Soofi Kalam, Installation stood First.  Giddha, Folk Song, Elocution, Clay Modelling, Rangoli, Cartooning and Debate won second position.  Mime, Dry Flower Decoration, Sketching, Collage Making got third position.  Phulkari and Skit got consolation prizes.  The college won 18 prizes in 24 items.  The Principal, Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the item incharges and the students on such a grand success and motivated them to work hard in future as well.  The advisor to Youth Welfare Department Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Dean Youth Welfare Department Navroop, Co-Dean Shama Sharma, Veena, Ramnita Saini Sharda, Neety Sood, Kuljeet Kaur, Gagandeep, Savita Mahendru, Pooja, Aruna Walia, Rama Sharma, Dr. Nidhi Bal, Deepika, Rekha and other faculty members graced the occasion with their presence.
