Himachal Pradesh CM congratulates Commonwealth Medalists Anjum Moudgil and Vikas Thakur

Dharamshala, April 15, 2018: Chief Minister of Jai Ram Thakur today called Anjum Moudgil to congratulate her for winning silver medal in the women's 50 meter rifle event in the Commonwealth Games. Anjum Moudgil hails from Una district of Himachal Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said, “This was a remarkable achievement and she has brought laurels to the country and the state. The people of the state were proud of her achievement. I wished her more success and expressed hope that she would perform even better in the international events in the years to come.”

CM also congratulates Vikas for winning Bronze medal in Commonwealth Games.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated Vikas Thakur, who hails from Hamirpur district of the state for winning Bronze medal in weightlifting event in the Commonwealth Games.

Jai Ram Thakur said this was a remarkable achievement by Vikas Thakur and people of the state were proud of his achievement. He would certainly be an inspiration for the young generation to work hard for success in their lives.
