HIGH LEVEL MEETING CONVENED BY COMMISSIONER V K MEENA

Ferozepur, September 15, 2016: Commissioner Ferozepur Division V.K.Meena today convened a high level meeting with all the Deputy Commissioners and Revenue Officers of Division. During the meeting the court cases relating to the revenue officers were reviewed and important instructions were issued regarding the pending cases which were pending for more than one or two years.
It is pertinent to mention here that on June 3rd this year, Sarvesh Kaushal, Chief Secretary, Punjab had convened a meeting with the revenue officers at Faridkot had also passed on few important instructions regarding the pending cases.
Meanwhile, The Deputy Commissioners were also instructed to convene regular monthly meeting with all the officers to review the progress of the revenue court cases. They were also directed to convene the meetings to maintain law and order in their respective districts.
Girding up for the upcoming assembly elections, instructions pertaining to the revision of electoral rolls 2016 were also given to all the DEOs, AEOs and AEROs. They were also directed to follow these instructions of the CEO Punjab in letter and spirit and monitor the summary revision of electoral rolls of Assembly Elections 2017.
Besides, the progress of Cattle Pond Projects in District, Flood Protection Measures, Major Development Works/Projects/Scheme/ Programmes related to various departments, latest status report regarding Rural and Urban Mission, Suwidha Kendars and Fard Kendars in the Distt., Departmental Enquiries, RTI and Right to Service Act, Computerization of Land Records of the District were also reviewed and necessary instructions were given to all the DCs and other revenue officers to implement these projects and schemes within the stipulated time frame work.
On this occasion, Isha Kalia, Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka, Kuldip Singh Vait, Deputy Commissioner, Moga, Vanit Kumar, ADC, Ferozepur, Charandev Singh, ADC, Ferozepur, Paramdeep Singh, SDM, Guruharsahai, Jarnail Singh, SDM, Zira, Prof. Jaspal Singh, SDM, Dharamkot, Ram Singh, SDM, Muktsar, Avikesh Gupta, SDM, Jalalabad, Subhash Khattar, SDM, Fazilka and others were present.
