Ferozepur, November 19, 2015: The 105 Battalion deputed at Border Out Post (BOP) Shameke have recovered two packets of heroin worth Rs.10 Crore in the International market. Giving details, R.K.Thapa, DIG, BSF said during a special search operation carried out by the BSF troops in the area of responsibility, two packets of heroin were recovered by them in the morning. DIG Thapa said that due to alert BSF troops, another attempt of smugglers and anti-national aliments to smuggle contraband in India was thwarted.
