Haryana government quite concerned about Guest Teachers: CM

Chandigarh, May 22, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today said that the present government in the State is quite concerned about the Guest Teachers and efforts would be made to make a way out within the framework of law. However, he added that the guest teachers should also exercise patience and cooperate with the State Government.

Mr Manohar Lal was responding to the queries of the media persons on the sidelines of a function here today,

He said that the State government is concerned about the future of guest teachers and their families and would make efforts to do whatever best possible in their interest. The government is considering providing relaxation in maximum age limit to the guest teachers and other parameters in future direct recruitment.

On being asked about the membership drive of BJP, he said that the Party has been successful in enrolling more than 10 crore members in the party fold at national level. With this, the BJP has become the largest democratic party of not only of country but of the world. He said that in Haryana, the number of members of BJP has reached to 34 lakh in the last three months. The workers and members of the party would visit every household under the mass contact programme and would apprise the people about the one year’s achievement of BJP Government at the Centre and six months achievement of government in the State, he added.

When asked about the law and order situation in the State, Mr Manohar Lal said that there has been considerable downfall in the criminal cases in the State as compared to last year. The police is showing more alertness in arresting the culprits. He said that the government would provide all required resources to the police to make it modernized and added the it is committed to ensure proper law and order situation in the State. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
