New Delhi, June 18, 2014 :The Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda has given firm assurance that all-out efforts would be made for safe evacuation of people from Haryana who have been stranded in the strife-torn Iraq.
In a statement issued here today, Hooda said that the state government is keeping a close watch on emerging situation in Iraq and is in constant touch with the Union Ministries of Home and External Affairs to ensure safe evacuation of the people of the state.
The state government has set up a control room with telephone number on 0172-5059197. “Anyone from Haryana who wants to provide any information regarding members of his family or relatives stranded in Iraq can contact at this number on 24X7 basis so that necessary steps can  be taken for their safe evacuation from Iraq”, the Chief Minister added.
The officer in-charge for this control room would be Rajiv Khosla, Additional Director (Press), Information and Public Relations Department, Haryana with Mobile Number 09780177895 who could be contacted anytime.
