Guru Kashi University to hold second convocation on January 28

Talwandi Sabo, January 23, 2018: Guru Kashi University (GKU) arenowned educational institute of Punjab will hold its 2nd convocation ceremony on January 28. Dr.B.S.Dhaliwal, the Vice-Chancellor of GKU while enlightening about the highlights of the convocation ceremony informed “Padma Bhushan Awardee, Dr.Sardara Singh Johl, Chancellor, Central University of Punjab will be the Chief Guest of the function. Prominent academician Dr.J.S.Dhaliwal, Chancellor of GKU will preside over the function. Mr.Gurlabh Singh Sidhu, Chairman of GKU and Dr. Bruce Fawcett president & Vice Chancellor, Crandall University, New Brunswick, Canada will be the Guest of Honours of the event.” Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Registrar, GKU also apprised “Numerous dignified personalities such as S. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu (Managing Director, GKU), Er. Sukhwinder Singh Sidhu (Secretary, GKU), Dr. Shiv Prasher (McGill University, Montreal, Canada), Dr. ShamsheerVayalil (MD.V.P.S. Healthcare, United Arab Emrates), Dr Jon Ohihauser (Povost, Crandall University, Canada), Mr.Greg Cook (Chair, Board of Governors, Crandall University, Canada), Mr.ShanPadda (Law Expert, Canada), will enhance the morale of the students with their gracious presence.”
Eminent Environmental Scientist, Dr. Shiv Prasher (McGill University, Montreal, Canada) and Distinguished Dr. ShamsheerVayalil (MD.V.P.S. Healthcare, United Arab Emrates) would be conferred with the honorary degree of “Doctor of Science” for their outstanding and sustained contribution in their respective fields.
Dr. Gurlabh Singh Sidhu and Dr. B.S Dhaliwal cordially invite all the students and dignitaries to the convocation ceremony.
