GS Bali appointed as observer for Utterakhand polls

Dharamshala, January 3, 2017: Transport Minister of Himachal G S Bali has been appointed observer by the Congress party for the coming Uttrankhand assembly elections. The spokes person of the Bali’s office said,”A letter of Madhusudan Mistry, General Secretary of AICC has been received after the clearance of Congress President Sonia Gandhi Ji.”

This came as a boosting news for Bali , who is going through a tough time due to uneasy relations with Himachal CM Vir Bhadra Singh, after the bali was not allowed to the dias in Dharamshala Rally of Rahul Gandhi on 24th of December, organized to celebrate the 4 years of Congress rule in Himachal. Bali is a sr. leader and hails from Nagrota Bagwan constituency , 20 kms from here, where he managed to take RahulGandhi to unveil Rajiv Gandhi’s Statue and to inaugurate an engineering College on the same day.

The tense atmosphere further intensified between the CM and Bali when Vir Bhadra Said that state government is not in a position to provide the unemployment allowance to youth,during a reply to media yesterday. Bali was one of the members of the manifesto committee of 2012 assembly eletions, where it was promised to provide unemployment allowance. Vir Bhadra said recently, “ when the manifesto was prepared I was not there.”

After lying a foundation stone of a bus stand in Nurpur 70 kms from here on Tuesday Bali said,”I, Vidya Stokes and Mukesh Agnihotri were there in committee to find out feasibilities to gather money for unemployed allowance, and the report has already been deposited with the CM.”

Bali said that if the state government can provide crores of subsidy in Electricity and food grains to public every month than the unployment allowance could not be a problem. HE said,”I have good personal relations with the CM, and these will remain till death.”
