Greenbuild Leadership Award to honour K Raheja Corp

Mumbai, October 12, 2017: K Raheja Corp, India’s leading real estate developer will be honoured with the Greenbuild Leadership Award for their commitment to Green development in India. The 2017 award was given to organizations that contributed to the green building community, who enhanced environmental performances and improved the quality of life in India. The awards will be presented for the first time in India as part of the inauguration of the Greenbuild India Conference and Expo.

K Raheja Corp is ahead of the curve in the Green development space, pioneering the industries’ responsibility towards committing to a Green society. Backed with its 'Green Vision,' to commit towards making all their commercial and residential LEED & IGBC Green Certified, the Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the CII-Green Building Council to construct sustainable buildings, back in 2007. Apart from its eco-friendly constructions, K Raheja Corp is committed to developing large, green expanses across the country. The Company has developed over 40.9 mn sq.ft of Green building footprint spread across the West and South of India. The awards will be presented during the conference and expo at the Bombay Exhibition Center (NESCO) in Mumbai on 3rd November 2017. Greenbuild India is presented by USGBC and ABEC Exhibitions and Conferences and serves as a forum for the green building community to unite, revolutionize business and address pressing issues such as air quality, human health, energy use and global climate change. Attendees will get an in-depth look at LEED v4 and GBCI’s suite of rating systems that drive the adoption of green practices across all levels of business.
