Shimla, June 19, 2017: Governor Acharya Devvrat today said that a new cow shed would be constructed at Sevadham, Kathni at Subathu in Solan district to encourage cow rearing at large scale. He was speaking after laying foundation stone of cow shed at Kathni.
He said that cow rearing was linked with our culture and should not be defined with any particular religion. He urged people to adopt cow rearing and natural farming for improving their economy.
He also honoured meritorious students and social workers on this occasion and announced to give rupees two lakh for construction of cow shed.
Swami Yog Tirath of Yog Peeth Ashram also expressed his views on yoga and culture.
