New Delhi, March 30, 2015: When every Indian fan was busy in praising the Indian Cricket team for their marvellous run in world cup, Saina Nehwal become the World number one shuttler during the Indian Super Series which ended on this Sunday.  First Indian women shuttler to achieve world number one ranking, Saina Nehwal on Sunday clinched her maiden India Open Super Series title after notching up a dominating straight game victory against former world champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in the finals of Indian Super Series.
Saina Nehwal became the first Indian woman Shuttler to be ranked as World number one in the badminton, the game which is played by around 164 countries of the world. Saina outplayed her opponent in the final of Indian Super Series finals to claim its first Indian Series title. The Indian Shuttler is playing extremely well from previous 6 months. Today, Saina made every citizen of this country proud by achieving this phenomenal feat.
Bold over by the performance of the Saina Nehwal and feat achieved by the Saina Nehwal, famous Psychologist Anuja Kapur said that “I congratulate Saina Nehwal on winning the Indian Super Series and on becoming the world number one Shuttler in the world. Kapur further added that today being a lady I can really feel proud on the feat achieved by the Saina in a country where crime towards women is still an issue of concern. Everybody is praising the feat achieved by the Saina but on the other hand female infanticide is increasing. Today I want to appeal to every citizen of the country if we will not allow girls to born then how we will be able to find a new Saina Nehwal. If we won’t stop killing the girls then that day is not far when there would be no Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Deepika Pallikal (all sports players representing India in their own game) in our country and that would be big shame to us.
