Gear up for Disha Inter Corporate Carrom Tournament

Chennai, January 22, 2016: Disha Sports Academy, under the aegis of The Ma Foi Foundation is inviting participation for the Second Edition of ‘Disha Inter Corporate Carrom Tournament’ which is to be held on 13th February 2016 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.  The tournament has competitions scheduled under two categories– Men’s Singles and Men’s Doubles and corporate companies can nominate a team of maximum eight employees. Last date for sending the entries is 29th January 2016. 

The second edition of this Tournament will aim at raising funds to coach and train talented children in the field of sports from the under privileged sections of the society. Winners of the tournament will get a chance to take home the trophy, certificates and some exciting goodies.

Speaking about the tournament, Ms. Latha Rajan, Managing Trustee, Ma Foi Foundation, said “We are happy to organize the tournament for the second year in a row. The overwhelming response we received for the last edition of the tournament has motivated us to keep up the momentum. We see many corporate companies participating in these tournaments as a platform for team building activities and also instill in them the importance of contributing to the betterment of under privileged children. Through this initiative we are confident that we will bring some of the hidden talents across society into the limelight.”
