Free medical camp held by Mata Kaushalya Devei Memorial Hospital at Hambran

Ludhiana, March 26, 2018: Today a free medical camp was held in the Mata Kaushalya Devi Pahwa Charitable Hospital (MKDPCH) a Unit of CMC at Hambran Village, Ludhiana. The free camp was held in memory of late Sri Sohan Lal Pahwa.
Medical teams from the departments of Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & gynecology, Orthopedic, Psychiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology (Eye), Dermatology, Dental Surgery, Pediatrics and Community Medicine examined the patients at the camp. As many as 560 Patients were examined during the camp. Patients were examined and provided medicines free of cost. Investigations like blood sugar, ECG and many others were done at concessional rates. Patients were admitted for free surgeries.
The Civil Surgeon Ludhiana- Dr Parvinderpal Singh Sidhu was the chief guest appreciated the good work done by CMC and the Mata Kaushalya Devi Hospital. Dr Sidhu along with Sarder Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman/ Managing Director Avon cycles, Dr Abraham G Thomas, Director of CMC& Hospital also interacted with patients in the ````ward. Dr Clarence Samuel, Head- RHOP was also present at the inaugaration.
Giving more details about the camp, Mr Balan, the Administrator (MKDPCH) these camps offer an opportunity to bringing CMC’s High quality care to door step of the people. The hospital will continue upgrading its infrastructure to meet the needs of the people of Hambran and the surrounding villages.
