Free Artificial Limbs Distribution & Polio Corrective Surgery Camp

Ludhiana, March 26, 2017: Bharat Vikas Parishad Dr.Kitchlu Branch in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab organised a Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp on Sunday 26th March 2017 at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana. Artificial Limbs, Calipers, Crutches & Hearing aids were given to 34 physically challenged persons. Earlier Polio Corrective surgery operation were done on 06 polio effected persons. The camp was sponsored by Er. Anil Gupta, MD, Tech Auto Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana.

The Camp Started with a Hawan- Yagya & Prayers with a view to celebrate the Bhartiya Nav Samatsar- 2074 for the Good Health & Prosperity among all.

Er. Anil Gupta, as Chief Guest was highly complimentry of the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad in helping the Handicapped persons.

Sh. Suraj Jyoti, BVP State Convener along with Sh. Munish Sood, Sh. Raj Sharma, Sh. Vinod Sharma & Sh. Varinder Soin were the Guest of Honour on this occasion. They collectively appriciated the work being done by the BVP Charitable Trust Punjab. It was told that the Trust has organised 1032 Camps in which more than 47781 physically handicapped persons have benefitted in various ways. The most remarkable example of the function is the case of Miss Prabhjot Kaur, who first visited the VSK in 2002 for operation & Fitting of Artificial Limb. She told that a regular treatment in this centre has benefitted her the most & now she was able to persue her Graduation at the University Level.

Er.B.K Bhalla, welcomed the dignitaries, Guests, beneficiaries and all others. Other members who helped in organising this camp were Dr. D.R.C Bakhetia, Sh. R.P Gupta, Mrs. S. Sood, Er. Bhupinder Singh, Sh. S.P Sood, Sh. A.K Kapoor, Sh. Subhash Katyal, Dr. V.K Kakkar, Mrs. N. Mannan and others.
