Ferozepur, June 24, 2015: After the first day counseling for admission in the seven meritorious schools of the state, five students were selected today, this information was provided by Jagsir Singh, DEO (S), Ferozepur. The DEO said that in this ambitious project of the state government, the government shall bear all the expenses. “The selected five students were also given the offer letters on the spot.
The DEO said that three students Simerjit Singh son of Saraj Singh, Dawinder Kaur daughter of Jaspal Singh, Rajbir kaur daughter of Harjinder Singh preferred Bhatinda Meritorious School (Non-Medical) while Ramanjit Kaur daughter of Baljinder Singh opted for Ludhiana Meritorious School (Medical). Another student Ekta Rani daughter of Jagjit Singh chose Bhatinda Meritorious School (Commerce).
Pawan Kumar, District Coordinator (MIS) said that the counseling shall continue from 24th– 30th June and 37 students (20 girls, 17 boys) from ferozepur district shall participate in the counseling.
