International Yoga Day in Khalsa College

Jalandhar, June 21, 2015: International Yoga Day was celebrated in Lyallpur Khalsa College today, with the active co-operation of 2nd Punjab Battalion NCC. The event witnessed participation of teachers, students and NCC cadets of the college in addition to NCC cadets and officers from Police DAV Public School, PAP Government School and Doaba Khalsa Senior Secondary School.  Speaking on the occasion the College Principal Dr. G.S. Samra and Lt. Col. Tejpal Singh Commanding Officer 2nd Punjab Battalion NCC enlightened the participants about the history and significance of Yoga and exhorted them to make it a routine habit for a healthy living. The participating students were awarded with certificates. Brig. D.S. Tripathi, Group Commander Jalandhar N.C.C. Group, Prof. J.S. Rana were also present in this occasion.
