Engineers celebrate their day in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 15, 2019: Engineers Day was celebrated today in Ludhiana jointly by all associations of engineers and architects with the support of engineers from Ultratech Cement. Engineer Day is celebrated every year on 15th of September. Rich tributes were paid to all senior most engineers who had passed away. Plants/saplings were given to all participants for plantation as per this year theme. Er Satish Tanwar, Head Technical Services explained in detail role of engineers in society and specially in developing India. Er H S Rai, Dean from GNDEC Ludhiana also spoke about importance of engineers in all development projects. Architect Sanjay Goel, Director, Ludhiana Smart City Limited explained role of smart citizens in upcoming smart cities. Proposed Smart city projects are not possible without active and responsible role of engineers from all disciplines. Event started with lamp lighting and vote of thanks was given by Er Krishan Kumar. Gathering included engineers, architects, builders, teachers and planners.
