Jalandhar, December 25, 2014: Christmas, ‘An eve of Miracle’, was celebrated by the members of the Faculty Development Programme at G.N.D.U.College, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, with a blend of learning and celebration.
All the members dressed in red, symbolising the spirit of the festival. First resource person of the day, Prof.M.J.Kalra (GNDU College, Jalandhar) made an eye-opening speech on ‘Changing Scenario in e-Commerce’. He said, “Koshish Karne Walon Ki Kabhi Haar Nahi Hoti” and discussed in detail Alibaba and Amazon, the two giants of e-commerce. He further elaborated on upcoming scenario of e-commerce in India.
The next session was headed by Ahsanul Haq (Jalandhar Management Association) who discussed who discussed the various qualities required to be a successful entrepreneur. He said, “We gain by our employment, but we gain a lot by generating employment”. He stressed on creating and building job opportunities for others. The session ended with a cake cutting ceremony and acknowledging words by Dr.Ashish Arora.
