Dr. Subhash Chandra writes to the Prime Minister on #IndiaBhiBharatBhi

Dr.Subhash Chandra, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Chairman, Essel Group and ZEE has tweeted a copy of the letter that he has sent to the PM expressing his commitment towards building the PM’s vision of ‘New India in 2022’. In the rapidly connecting world of today, wherein the ecosystem is evolving at a faster pace, combining the ancient cultures of Bharat along with the modern, progressive and scientific attitudes of India is the mantra to ensure our country reaches greater heights.

"Respected/ Dear Pradhanmantri ji,

To begin with, please accept my heartfelt Congratulations and Best Wishes on the successful passing of the GST Bill. I pray to the almighty that he showers his choicest of blessings on you to keep up the dedication and energy with which you are working on strengthening our country's economy .
Pradhanmantriji, recently you had mentioned your desire and determination towards making a 'NEW INDIA' by the year 2022 that also marks the 75th year of Country's Independence. Please allow me to share few key points with respect to your vision.
The vast geographic and demographic Nation like ours that stretches from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Assam though one but we have two Nations living in them.... One... INDIA and the Other One being BHARAT.
Two mindsets run and work parallel in this country... one, that of an India... another, that of a Bharat. Some believe, India resides in cities and Bharat in villages, but I believe that our Nation resides in the hearts of every Bhartiya and minds of every Indian.
While India talks about progress, Bharat puts a strong emphasis on its Ideals,
While India shakes hands with Foreign collaborations, Bharat holds firmly and with pride everything that is Swadeshi
While India scrutinizes every aspect of the Country's prosperity with Brains, Bharat is all heart !
Happiness for India increases with every increase in Virtual friend list, while Bharat is thrilled and happy to give and receive as many real hugs from friends.
It is believed that on one hand Bharat's contribution to the Population of our country may by 80% but its contribution to strengthen sovereignty or as an influential authority is only 20%. Where as progressive India's contribution is just the opposite of that, their population may be 20% but contribution is 80%. And to balance this imbalance of Influential India and Populated/ Humanpowered Bharat, Pradhanmantriji, if we manage to strike the right balance between India's Vast Scientific Research andBharat's deep Spiritual insight, India's modern mindset and Bharat'sancient Culture & Heritage, India's functionality, its practicality, itsviability and Bharat's long standing and revered traditions, India's Machine power and Bharat's Human Power and if we amalgamate India's modern lifestyle with Bharat's traditional upbringing and family values then we can be sure of emerging a ' New India ' that can most certainly be a World Leader.
Pradhanmantriji, I am sure you would agree with me that despite all odds our country and its people stand united when it comes to serving the Nation. The respect for the Nation is above and beyond everything else for every Individual of this country. I firmly believe that our country can and will progress only when both aspects of this modern India and traditional Bharat work in tandem with each other. This unique blend can surpass all odds and give our country a new meaning, new identity and new horizon in the eyes of the entire world.
I am most certain that if we continue to work towards building our Nation with the same determination, far-sightedness and devotion , then the gap between India and Bharat will cease and that we shall see the rise of a new prospering, happy and from every angle a SELF-DEPENDENT Nation...
The 'New India' that we dream of and resolve to make can happen only when we see India and Bharat walking hand in hand... shoulder to shoulder with each other.
