Diwali Mela brings DLF Gardencity to life

Gurugram: With the festival of lights in the offing, Diwali Mela was organized at DLF Gardencity. The evening turned out to be an enviable potpourri of entertainment, shopping and scrumptious food.

Adorned in Diwali theme, the entire area was illuminated with flowers and lights which immersed the place in myriad hues. Residents dressed in traditional Indian attire greeted each other with gaiety and fervour.

The main highlight of the Diwali extravaganza was a scintillating live performance by a renowned music band.It irresistibly drove people of all age groups to energetically groove to the reverberating beats.Fun-filled activities like special Diwali tambola and games thoroughly captivated the residents. Shopping kiosks were also set up for the shopaholics to splurge overdécor items, accessories etc.

Children had a rollicking time in the play area hosting various games like hoopla, balloon shooting, bouncy and tattoo art. A ‘selfie zone’had also been created which rendered unique memorable experiences for everyone. 

The event had presented a unique culinary delight with a large spread of mouth-watering dishes for the gastronomical patrons.

“Diwali Mela had offered us a wonderful occasion to bond with neighbours and enjoy the festival in its true fervour. I would like to thank DLF Gardencity for organizing such a memorable event for us,” said Ms. Dimple Khera, a resident.

“The festival of Diwali is synonymous with joy and prosperity. I was completely left spellbound by the décor of the area. This event truly celebrated the spirit of Diwali marked by enthusiasm galore all around,” said Mr. Kapil Chawla, another resident.

The evening concluded with a mesmerizing display of paper lanterns which lit up the sky in sparkling patterns.
