DIWALI CELEBRATIONS AT BCM SCHOOL DUGRI

Ludhiana: Diwali denotes the triumph of good over evil. When Diyas get alighted, the glow illuminates the darkest night leading to enlightenment of the mind and soul. Acknowledging the same, the Middle wing students at B.C.M.School, Basant Avenue, Dugri, on Thursday celebrated Diwali by making beautiful and amazing craft items out of waste material. They made wonderful wall hangings, diyas, floating candles etc. to lift up the festive spirit. Inter class Rangoli competition was held for the girls of class VIII. The students were extremely excited while showcasing their commendable creativity. All the classrooms were full of great array of these Diwali items prepared by the students. Dr.Vandna Shahi, the School Principal, applauded the students for their efforts saying that such activities are inevitable to keep the tradition alive in hearts of young generation.
