DISTRICT Level Seminar on Right to Service Act on July 16

Ferozepur, July 11, 2013:  With regard to 20 services under Right to Service Act introduced by the Punjab Government, a District Level Seminar is being organized at MLM School, Ferozepur Cantt on July 16, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 PM, to be presided over by SSP Ferozepur, Varinder Pal Singh.

Giving this information, Lakhbir Singh, SP(H) informed that the police department is providing 20 services through Saanjh Kendras and CPRC to the public at a nominal fee and minimum time.  He further said, in this seminar, the common man will be put wiser about the services being provided by the police department so that they could avail the services, as and when required.  The idea behind the introduction of Right to Service Act by the Punjab Government is to stop the unnecessary harassment to the common man for getting their work done and to complete the same within the stipulated time.  The detailed information about the services being provided by the police department under the Right to Service Act would be given.
