Discount offered to Serving and Retired Government officials by Haryana Tourism

New Delhi, August 20, 2014:  Extending a benefit to Haryana’s serving and retired government employees, the Haryana Tourism Corporation has decided to offer them 20 per cent discount on accommodation at its Tourist Complexes across the State. This discount is for private stay by any category of serving or retired Haryana government officials.

Chakravarty Sharma, Chairman, Haryana Tourism Corporation  announced that the serving and retired officers/officials of Haryana government Departments, Corporations and Boards will get 20 per cent discount on accommodation at all Haryana Tourism Tourist Complexes across the state.

According to Sumita Misra, Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Corporation an authenticated employee ID with photograph is required on check-in to avail the 20 per cent discount. The discount can be availed by each officer/official either serving or retired on one room at any Tourist Complex per day.

Haryana Tourism, a trailblazer in highway tourism has currently got a network of 42 Tourist Complexes equipped with 807 comfortable air-conditioned rooms, multi-cuisine restaurants, well-stocked bars, state-of-the-art Convention Centres and facilities like banquet, conference and multipurpose halls. Haryana Tourism has further diversified and broadened the concept of tourism by focusing on farm tourism, golf tourism, heritage tourism adventure tourism and MICE tourism.
