MP CLAIMS STATE GOVERNMENT COMMITTED FOR ALL-AROUND DEVELOPMENT OF LUDHIANA TOPMOST PRIORITY

LUDHIANA, May 2, 2018: Member of Parliament (MP) Ravneet Singh Bittu on Wednesday inaugurated the development projects worth Rs 7.72 crores in Ludhiana South Constituency and claimed that Punjab government would leave no stone unturned for comprehensive development of the city.

In first, MP started the work of Kanganwal road falling under ward-28 on which Rs 3.10 crore would be spent and later, got started the works of General Mohan Singh road in ward-30, Rs 22 lakh interlocking tiles road in Dhandari Kalan, Rs 8 lakh for cremation ground, Dharamshala and new toilets.

Further, he also inaugurated work of Cinema road which would be constructed at the cost of Rs 2 crores and initiated road projects worth Rs 1.20 crores in wards-31 and 33, tubewell work of Rs 18 lakh and also begun the work of constructing new road worth Rs 94.50 lakh in ward-35.

Apart from this, MP visited the village Jugiana to listen to the problem of residents and assured them to resolve the same shortly.

He said that development of city Ludhiana was topmost priority of Punjab Government and accused that previous SAD-BJP government totally ignored the development of the city.

Captain Amarinder Singh led government is developing the state with planned manner. Punjab Government would spend 3568 crore rupees in the city in next 4 years, he added.

Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, Deputy Mayor Sarbjit Kaur, Kamaljit Singh Karwal, Councillor Satpal Singh Lohara and others were present on the occasion.
