DAMAGED electric pole pose threat to commuters

Ludhiana, July 15, 2013: A damaged electric pole on Old Police Chowki road in the New Shimlapuri Area, has been posing a great threat to the lives of commuters.
This cemented electric pole is already seen bend. It has already damaged upto nearly 50 per cent and may fall at any moment, feared the area residents.
On being contact, Sanjeev Dhiman, an area resident and local BJP leader said, commuters get feared whenever they pass from that particular area. Any major mishap may take at any moment, he said. He said the area residents have informed about the problem many times to the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) but nothing has been done so far.
