CU students block traffic in Dharamshala

Dharamshala, September 28, 2018: The students of the Central University in Himachal Pradesh blocked traffic on Dharamshala Chandigarh NH, infront of main police station on Friday in protest of the allegedly failure of the district police to arrest a biker who hit a MBA student on Thursday evening. Ankita Sharma, 22year old MBA student of CUHP was killed in this road bikers hit and run on Thursday night infront of the police station. The student was taken to nearby district hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The students agitated this morning that despite the fact that the accident happened right infront of the police station and the police naka still they “failed to arrest the bike rider”. The traffic was restored later. The deceased was identified as Ankita Sharma daughter of Bhagirath Sharma a resident of Totu, Shimla.
