CT University signs MoU for Raushnee with Rana Hospital
Ludhiana, September 18, 2018: CT University (CTU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with city based Rana Hospital for the joint working of a programme Raushnee-The Light in different Schools and Colleges of Ludhiana District. With the collaborative effort, CTU and Rana Hospital will target the literate community of school and college students as well as rural masses to educate them about the common eye ailments, their treatment and proper care, through specialist lectures by experts of both the organizations and carrying out awareness campaigns. The agreement was signed in the esteemed presence of Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor; Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor; Dr Jagtar Dhiman, Registrar; Dr BS Rana, President, Rana Hospital and faculty members. Dr B.S. Rana, appreciated that his hospital, in collaboration with the CT University, will further strengthen the cause of eye care in contemporary society, which needed attention in view of the multitude problems occurring or emerging in recent times. During of agreement, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, VC said, “Our main aim is to see hale and hearty Punjab and ultimately a Healthy Nation. The programme will focus on giving Raushnee, the light, to each eye and give people a healthy lifestyle maintaining proper eye care.”
