Mumbai, September 28, 2017: Adding to its fleet of international routes, Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (MIAL), the company that operates the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), saw the arrival of the maiden flight of Thai Lion Air at 5:40am, Wednesday, which began operations on from Mumbai to Don Mueang. Initially commencing flights on the Boeing 737 twice a week, the low-cost carrier will soon increase the frequency to thrice a week.
Following the recent launch of Indonesia AirAsia X flights on the Mumbai-Bali route, Thai Lion Air will be the latest budget addition for flyers from Mumbai seeking cheaper options to explore South East Asia.
