CRIME: 15 booked in 2 separate dispute cases

Ferozepur, December 14, 2012:  In two different dispute cases in border villages Jhuge Hazara Singh Wala and Dona Mattar, the Sadar and Lakho Ke Bheram police stations have booked 15 persons under different sections of law but no arrested has so far been made in these case.

Giving this information Jaswant Singh, Inspector, Sadar police station informed that over a dispute in village Jhuge Hazara Singh Wala on government depot, on the complaint of Mohan Sigh, the police have booked Resham Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Ashok Kumar Gurvinder Singh, Ladoo, Sohan Singh, Paramjit Singh and Balwinder Singh under Arms Act and different sections of IPC.

The cause of dispute is that Mohan Singh wants to transfer the government depot in the name of his son, which is in the name of Surjit Kaur, his nearest relative.  On objecting by the complainant, Resham Singh allegedly beat and injured him and also fired in the air.  However, the opposition party has denied these charges.

In another case, Sukhchain Singh, ASI, Lakho Ke Bheram informed that the complainant Sumittra Rani of village Dona Mattar, in her complaint has alleged that Kulwinder Singh infront of her house was using the speakers for playing of songs on high pitch of volume and on objecting to it, Jaswant Singh, Santokh Singh, Mukhtiar Singh, Joginder Singh, Satnam Singh, Nishan Singh and Kulwinder Singh and others allegedly virtually beaten and injured her.  The police have registered a case in this regard whereas the accused persons have denied the charges levelled against them.
