"This is a serious offence and insult to freedom fighter who laid down their lives fighting against the British Imperialism."
Ludhiana, October 7, 2014: The Communist Party of India (CPI) District Ludhiana unit has demanded strict action against the culprits who have damaged and disfigured the statue of Ghadri Baba Gurmukh Singh Lalton. This is a serious offence and insult to freedom fighter who laid down their lives fighting against the British Imperialism, said Com Kartar Singh Bowani, District Secretary, Com D.P.Maur and Dr Arun Mitra, Assistant Secretaries and Com Gurnam Singh Sidhu, adding that the administration must take immediate action in this regard.
