Amarjit Gharu, Chairman, SC Wing of Ferozepur Congress showing damaged car.
Ferozepur, April 8, 2016: A case under sections 307/452/427 of the IPC and 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against five unidentified persons at Kulgarhi Police station following the open shoot which took place yesterday evening.
Panic had gripped the area yesterday evening when some unidentified assailants attacked at a residence in Village Satiyewala, just few kilometers away from district headquarter.
Amarjit Singh Gharu, Chairman, Congress SC Wing, had a narrow escape in the incident though his car which was parked there, was badly damaged. Luckily, Gharu was not in the car at that moment.
The accused are still absconding.
Manminder Singh, SSP, Ferozepur said that the police will arrest the culprits.
