Jalandhar, February 13, 2018: PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Doaba College Jalandhar through its Community Radio-Raabta 90.8 MHz celebrated world radio day by duly registering under UNESCO theme Gender Equality in Sports Broadcasting and airing 2 hour programmes viz interviews, radio talks and vox populi etc.
Dr Simran Sidhu,Head, BAJMC and MAJMC students Abha, Sakshi, Ruchi, Khusboo,Shama, Bindiya, Aseem, Hardeep, Sharan and Nikki aired programmes women personalities from different walks of life and interactive programmes with interaction with GNDU champion -college girls cricket team, handball, badminton and Tchoukball teams.
Principal Dr Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Dr Ominder Johal and Dr Nayya Mahajan were present on the occasion.
