Jalandhar, May 23, 2016: CT Group of Institutions in association with Jalandhar Traffic Police started a campaign “Help Your Cop’ to serve our police officials those who always stood up on their toes to serve the public even in the scorching heat or other odd conditions.
Commissioner of Police Arpit Shukla, ADCP Traffic K.S. Heer flagged off the Campaign in the presence of S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) and others. Under the campaign a vehicle will serve water to the deputed police officials at the different parts of the city. The Vehicle will provide 14 litres of water to 50 chowks of the city, daily in order to provide relief to them from the heat during their duty hours.
Commissioner of Police Arpit Shukla said they are thankful to CT Group of Institutions that they have taken the initiative to recognize and appreciate as the services of police officers. He said,“It’s been very difficult to serve the duty in the scorching heat. I had got couple of demands from police officials regarding the need of drinking water during their working hours. This noble cause will serve those officials who always stood on their toes in order to maintain the law and order of the city.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said, “The services provided by the Police are highly commendable for any resident of society. For that, one should always stand up to appreciate them, recognize their values in their lives and should always be ready to showcase the respect to the officials. Our initiative is just a social message, in order to provide little relief to the policemen those who are on Duty to safeguard us from any untoward situation.” He said, “Recently, we organized an activity to distribute Lassi (a traditional cooler drink) to the cops striding on the same motive to appreciate their services for us in any untoward situation.”
