College Of Agriculture PAU To Hold Its 15th Convocation On Jan 25

Ludhiana, January 22, 2016: PAU College of Agriculture is all set to hold its 15th Convocation on 25th January, 2016. On this occasion, Prof Ramesh Chand, Member, National Institute for Transforming India Aayog, Govt. of India will be the Chief Guest. Giving information about the event, Dr.H.S.Dhaliwal, Dean of the College said that the rehearsal for the Convocation would be held on 24th January from 2.00 p.m.onwards and students who fail to attend the rehearsal would get their degrees after the Convocation Ceremony is over.

 

On this occasion, 79 students would receive merit certificates, 99 students from B. Sc. Agriculture four year programme (2014) as well as 31 students from B. Sc. Agriculture six year programme (2014) will receive their degree. Students who completed their B. Sc. (Biotechnology), B. Tech. Food Technology and B. Sc. Agriculture, four year and six year programme in the year 2014-15 will also receive their degrees. Ten students would be awarded medals out of which three students would be honoured with Gold Medal.
