Jalandhar, October 17, 2016: Cambridge International School for Girls held the Economics seminar on Monday . The session was addressed by eminent speaker and scholar, Sh.J. P.Goel, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Economics, Hindu (Post Graduate) College, Sonepat, Haryana.
Teachers from fifty two schools attended this seminar .It aims to throw light on recent changes in CBSE syllabus, deliberation on critical and argumentative topics like Consumer's Equilibrium, Production Function in Microeconomics, National Income, Income Determination in Macroeconomics, recent changes by government which will leave its impact on the economy i.e. GST, FDI , Yoga impact and focused on the development of new methods for the estimation and evaluation of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models and on the substantive economic applications of these methods.
He discussed how Make in India ultimate objective is to make India a renowned manufacturing hub for key sectors. Companies across the globe would be invited to make investment and set up factories and expand their facilities in India and use India’s highly talented and skilled manpower to create world class zero defect products. Mission is to manufacture in India and sell the products worldwide.
He shared his valuable suggestion on how all these things can be correlated with the content of 12th standard and make the child realize the potential of its country for its proper growth and development.
The occasion witnessed the gracious presence of the Executive Director Mr. J.K. Kohli, Ms. Geeta, Director of LWES and Ms. Deepa Dogra, Principal and worthy Academic Director. Cambridge family was grateful to him for sharing his perspectives and for giving so generously of his time.
