CMCH to organise conference on “Motherhood to Menopause”

Ludhiana, October 1, 2012: The health of a woman is of prime importance. She is versatile and plays different roles throughout her life especially starting from Motherhood to Menopause.

With this aim in mind and to keep abreast with the knowledge, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana under the leadership of Director Dr. Abraham G Thomas and able guidance by the Head of the Department Dr. Kumkum Avasthi, is organising a conference on “Motherhood to Menopause” on 7th October.

This conference will be held under the aegis of Obstetrics and Gynecological Society of Northern India and Punjab Medical Council at Guy Constable Auditorium.

The conference is accredited for four credit hours by Punjab Medical Council. 

Eminent and experienced doctors in this field will discuss the important topics of ‘Induction of Labour’ on large scale, keeping in mind its safety and complications. 

On the other hand some special aspects of ‘Menopause’ would be discussed by eminent speakers.
