Hyderabad, April 10, 2016: To usher in an era of constructive and productive governance the TRS party has gone a step ahead to conduct an orientation workshop for its newly elected corporators at Pragati Resorts from 11th April to 13th April, 2016. Pragati Resorts, the venue chosen for the meeting is a one-of-its-kind resort in the country. it is a man-made eco-village developed on barren land creating a natural habitat, makes a perfect setting for the training.

K Chandrashekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana to deliver the key note address after the inaugural address by KT Rama Rao, Telangana minister for MA&UD at the workshop’s inaugural session on Monday, the 11th April.. The welcome address will be rendered by G Ram Mohan, GHMC mayor.

The 11th and 12th April workshop sessions are for the TRS GHMC corporators who got elected in the recently concluded corporation elections. Day three i.e. 13th April, 2016 workshop is being conducted for the TRS corporators elected from Warangal, Ramagundam, Nizamabad, Khammam, and Karimnagar.

When urban cities are turning into concrete jungles, a training program for newly elected corporators at Pragati will be more refreshing. Pragati Resort’s focus on conservation of Biodiversity of the region has also been instrumental to choose Pragati as a venue for TRS corporators workshop being conducted from tommorrow. It will have exhaustive sessions on ‘Hyderabad’s Past, Present and Future’, ‘Introduction to city Governance’ by experts from Administrative Staff College of India on the opening day. Session on ‘municipal governance framework’ by Dr N Stayanarayana, Joint collector Nalgonda, a session on ‘Hyderabad Master Plan including City development projects and Initiatives’ by Chiranjeevulu, Metropolitan Commissioner HMDA will be the other aspects covered on the opening day.

D Sudhakar and K Suresh Kumar of GHMC will conduct sessions on ‘solid waste management’ and ‘Road development Plan’ respectively other than a session by M Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad police commissioner on ‘City policing and traffic management’ in the post lunch segment on Monday, the 11th April the opening day of the three day workshop program for TRS corporators .
