CICU organised special camp on property tax for the benefit of industrialists

Ludhiana, February 26, 2015: Special Camp for Property Tax collection was inaugurated by Joga Singh, Vice President CICU, on Thursday at CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana for the benefit of Industrialists of Phase I to Phase VIII, Focal Point, Ludhiana. Kamlesh Bansal Zonal Commissioner, Zone B and Neeraj Jain Superintendent Municipal Corporation Ludhiana explained the details of Property Tax i.e. area wise categories & rates, totally and partially exempted categories, completion of applications, physical & online submission of applications and modes of payment.

Avtar Singh, President of CICU, welcomed Bansal for apprising leading industrialists about the Property Tax. He said that property tax formula is very simple and standardised. To promote education in the State, all educational institutions have been provided 50% rebate on Property tax. Complete details are available on www.mcludhiana.gov.in .

Upkar Singh, General Secretary, CICU said that self assessment is the main feature of Property Tax. The computation of the tax is very simple and systematic for all types of residential, commercial, industrial and vacant plots. 10% rebate is available for payment of Property Tax by 28th February 2015.

Manjit Singh Khalsa, Vice President CICU informed that there is heavy rush for submission of Property Tax Returns as large number of applications have been received from industrialists by Hardeep Singh Inspector, Gurmeet Singh, Paramjit Singh Chadda and Gulzar Mohamad Officials, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana. 

This Camp was attended by prominent industrialists including G.S. Kahlon, Kulvinder Singh Benipal, Rajinder Singh Sarhali, J.P. Singh Jiwan, Ajit Singla, Amrik Singh Marshal and Kartar Singh Brar.
