CICU Launches Free Training Courses Under Learn & Earn Scheme of GoI

Ludhiana, August 4, 2015: Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings has started Free Training Courses, under Learn & Earn Scheme of Ministry of Minority (Government of India) at its Skill Development Centre, at M.C.Block No. 2, Second Floor, Gill Road, Ludhiana under Social Corporate Responsibility. These job oriented courses are focused to provide training to unemployed youth, who are school & college pass out and drop out and belong to Minority Communities.

These useful courses are offered in Banking & Accounts Sector, Computer Hardware & Networking Sector, Retails Service & Marketing Sector and Electrical Sector. The duration of these courses are 3 Months.

Sh. Avatar   Singh President CICU while inaugurating this program said that, No fees will be charged from Trainees, free training material & books will be provided to Candidates, Travelling Expenses will be reimbursement for attending these classes. Govt. Recognized  Certificates will be awarded to pass candidates. CICU Strong Placement cell will assist in the job placements to pass out candidates.

Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary CICU said that unemployed youth of 18-35 years age, who are 10th to 12th pass or above, belonging to Minority Categories like Sikhs, Janis, Christens, Muslims and Buddhists etc are eligible for these courses which are highly beneficial to them for Developing Employable Skills. It will help the youth to use their energy in constructive work and distract them from anti social activities & drug addiction etc. This will also bridge the gap between of unskilled and skilled manpower availability for Trade & Industry Sectors of Punjab. He further said that CICU members will motivate their workers to take maximum benefits of such Scheme for employing their children, all nears & dears.
