CICU Applauded and Thanked Punjab Government for Reducing Hike in Road Tax Carrying Factory Workers and Employees Especially Ladies

Ludhiana, November 30, 2016: Sh.Avtar Singh President CICU (Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings), Ludhiana in a press release issued today applauded and thanked Sh.Parkash Singh Badal Chief Minister, Sh.Sukhbir Singh Badal Deputy Chief Minister and Sh.Madan Mohan Mittal Hon’ble Minister of Industries and Commerce Government of Punjab for reducing Vehicle Tax from Rs.3.00Lakh to Rs.1.50Lakh on Vehicles Carrying Factory Workers and Employees. The entire members of CICU and its 32 affiliated Industrial Associations of Punjab felt honored for taking this decision.

Sh.Upkar Singh Ahuja General Secretary CICU said that factory owners are providing free transport facility to their workers and employees especially ladies residing in rural areas where bus service is not timely and regularly available. He appreciated the vision, planning and efforts of Punjab Government towards the growth and development of industrial sector which are indeed noteworthy and commendable. This financial support will provide requisite relief to the industry facing financial constraints.
